Highly technical and excellent. Having exhausted the information from easier reads on SA, this book is tops. It is very technical, and uses language from college or graduate level behavior classes. This is not a minus at all. I had to read this short book twice before it really began to sink in. The isea that SA is wholistic problem, meaning that all aspects of the dogs life should be considered, not just the departure and return rituals, really helped us to calm our SA dog.It takes time, patients and understanding to manage SA and this book gets into very high detail with no candy coating. Highly recommended. Thanks to the author for the hardcore approach.

James O'Heare has a great way of describing the practical side of science and behaviour. I learned allot from this book.
Could have used more practical tips, but, at a high level, an interesting look at a dog's behavior.
